Underwater Series ACEO's, Jellyfish, Pufferfish, Sea Turtle & an Axolotl

Gosh it's been a while, but I've decided to try and use this blog as a place to list and show some of my paintings and ACEO's. I've been very lax at updating this little corner of the blogasphere but I'll hopefully be a bit more consistant.

Greyhound Gazing at the Moon, Greyhound ACEO Ink & Wash

A Greyhound Aceo drawn in ink pen and the Greyhound and grass has been given a wash using acrylic paint. The Moon has been painted with silver acrylic paint.  The Hare Gazing at the Moon is a popular image so why not other animals.....

Grey Sky over Brandon Country Park

I'm showing some of my painting's over in the tea room at Brandon Country Park, it's a joint showing along with a friend. We put the painting up on Tuesday 4th and I received a call yesterday (8th) letting me know that one has been sold. I'm really pleased. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get a decent photo before it sold so apologies for the photo quality.

Painted in acrylic onto a 12x12inch canvas, I used only black and white paint except for a smidgen of yellow in the windows of the tearoom.

ACEO's of Puppies

At the moment I have a few ACEO's in my online outlets, whay is an ACEO? I hear you ask......

ACEO is an acronym for Art Cards, Editions & Originals, sometimes known as ATC's Art Trading Cards. They are small works of art measuring 21/2 x 31/2 inches. You can read more about them here at Wikipedia.

They are bought or swapped by collectors and is a great way for buying affordable pieces of art, small enough to fit inside standard card-collector pockets or sleeves, they can be displayed in an album or displayed in a frame, either individually or grouped together.

I'll be adding new Aceo's and other Art works to this blog along the way. Some may have been sold some will still be available, if you want to purchase one or ask a question then please contact me.
